PDX Reporter is the official app for Portlanders to report livability concerns to the city. When you see a sidewalk trip hazard, an abandoned car, or a clogged storm drain you can take a photo and upload it to the app which will automatically send your report to the relevant city bureau.

  • Here Together

Here Together began as a coalition of service providers, business leaders, elected officials, leaders from communities of color and faith, and community advocates who all believe homelessness in the Portland metro area is not an unsolvable problem. We organized a region-wide community who voted to pass a region-wide measure to effectively solve homelessness; a response that targets the roots of the problem, and that, for the first time, matches the scale and scope of the response to the crisis.

Now, we continue to engage our communities to ensure the public will is being appropriately valued during the implementation of this measure. As a region, we came together to enact our values in supporting our neighbors experiencing homelessness. That remains what HereTogether is all about.

  • SW Outreach

A Holiday message from SW Outreach:

SW Outreach is a team of 15 volunteers in Multnomah Village working for the past year to support and find housing for our houseless neighbors. We are honored to know our neighbors and their stories and learn the true meaning of being a good neighbor! With your help we can continue to demonstrate that to them this holiday season.

Many of our houseless neighbors are seniors who receive social security but can’t afford rent and food. Other folks work a night job and need support with clothing and regular showers. Surprising to us, many grew up in this area and attended Wilson (now Wells) high school.

“I moved to SW PDX in 2004 after the death of my husband. I worked and lived in Multnomah Village until I broke 14 bones at once and lost my job. At the age of 59 I became homeless. I rent a room when I can or sleep in my car. My SS isn't enough for rent. I'm trying to survive until I find work now that I'm disabled.” - Alice, SW Portland houseless resident

We know each of our 74+ SW houseless neighbors by name and for many we are their only lifeline to services and supplies due to the lack of services in SW Portland. We are grateful to Riversgate Church which graciously provides showers and a lovely space. This allows us to be in community, build trust, foster relationships, and restore hope through conversation and shared meals.

Your support with a donation will mean that we can continue to provide life-saving supplies and services such as tents, sleeping bags, cell phones, warm meals, clothing, regular outreach visits, bus passes, legal aid, transportation to medical care and much much more!

“We helped Terry get transitional housing. He had lost all of his teeth which made finding work difficult and he was sleeping outside on the ground without even a blanket when we met him.”

    - Sandy Stienecker, SW Outreach Volunteer

We make every dollar count with your tax-deductible donation because we have NO administrative costs:

-Your gift of $50 will allow us to offer new underwear for folks who use the showers.

-Your gift of $125 will buy 3 sleeping bags or 2 tents at wholesale.

-Your gift of $500 will provide many weeks of hot meals.

-Your gift of $1000 will provide 24 cold weather sleeping bags.
