Our Mission & Leadership

The Multnomah Neighborhood Association is dedicated to supporting a safe, welcoming, and engaged neighborhood. Its purpose is to consider and act on issues that affect the livability and quality of our community, and to take positions on matters of civic interest, sharing those perspectives with residents to keep everyone informed.

MNA provides an open process where all members can participate in neighborhood affairs, and we actively advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in everything we do. The Association also works to maintain open lines of communication with other organizations and pursues any additional purposes approved by the Board of Directors, all with the goal of strengthening connections and opportunities within the neighborhood.

The Board of Directors manages the day-to-day affairs of the MNA and ensures that members are kept informed about issues and events that affect them. While the Board considers community input, it is tasked with acting in the best interest of the Association as a whole, making thoughtful decisions that support the long-term well-being of the Multnomah neighborhood.
