There are many ways to get involved with MNA! Come garden in Spring Garden Park for 2 hours, provide consultation expertise on community engagement, or become the next Recycling Czar.

Friends of Spring Garden Park
Stewardship
This family-friendly, all ages event invites you to get outside, enjoy nature, and help care for your local park. No experience is necessary. Tools, gloves, and project instructions will be provided.
Events are year-round.

Accounting
Are you a Quickbooks whiz? You could be an on-call tutor when our Treasurer has a question.
On-call. ~60-90 minutes per month

Database Management
We have more records for members, volunteers, and donors than one person can manage. Are you skilled at database management? Help!!!

Membership Co-Ordinator
Do you have marketing and/or sales experience? We would love advice and guidance on how best to connect with more people who live in the neighborhood and how best to connect and communicate with them.

Website enhancement
Got web site design experience? Help MNA upgrade their website to be more accessible, more intuitive and easier to navigate.
Ideally, knowledge of W3C guidelines.

Woodworking
Sometimes we need a box, or a bulletin board, or a thingamajig. If you have a shop, we could occasionally use a hand with a build or a repair. We'll buy materials, if you'll put them together.

MLK Jr. Day SOLVE clean up event co-lead
On Monday, January 19, 2026 from 10:00 AM 12:00 PM MNA Livability Committee & SOLVE Oregon will be partnering up to host a clean up event on MLK Jr. day.
We need help to organize!

Recycling Czar (Lead)
We aim to have all our event be zero (or at least minimal) waste. We have many recycling and trash related supplies. Take charge and earn your green merit badge.

Safety Street Monitor (Lead)
Several times a year, Multnomah Village is in need of Safety Street Monitors for large events, such as Halloween, Holiday Gala or Earth Day.
We are in search of a Lead Volunteer to take on organizing this project. We can support and connect you - you drive the project!
