Join us for a free morning of creek care and community connection.

• When: Saturday, February 28, 2026, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM (drop in anytime).

• Where: SW 55th Drive and SW Idaho Street (map link)

What we’ll do

• Remove English ivy and spruce up the SW 55th right‑of‑way (tools and gloves provided).

• Learn about local wildlife in the area: including beavers, minks, bobcats, deer, coyotes, river otters, several native fish species (such as sculpin, redside shiner, and western brook lamprey).

• Learn how to support habitat and creek health at home.

• Talk with local environmental groups, enjoy crafts and refreshments, and make a positive impact.
