Turning E-Waste into Community Action!

On a sunny Saturday morning, May 23rd, the MNA teamed up with Free Geek for our 3rd annual technology recycling and refurbishment event.

In just two short hours, our incredible community stepped up to donate 1,750 lbs of electronics. This powerful effort allowed neighbors to declutter their homes while making a deeply sustainable and philanthropic impact.

Our community's generosity shone bright: neighbors also donated approx. $500 to fuel Free Geek's vital mission of sustainably reusing technology & enabling digital access. As a special thanks to Meals on Wheels who kindly allows use of their site each year for this event, we also collected working portable fans which will help vulnerable neighbors stay safe and cool in their homes this summer.

This event is another example of MNA provides awesome services to our community while lifting up the life-changing missions of our favorite local non-profits!
