🌳 Branches needed for the Nest on Dec 2
Hi Neighbors,
The beloved Nest at Spring Garden Park needs a refresh, and we're looking for your donations (of branches) and helping hands to mend it!
Join us to Weave the Nest on Tuesday, December 2nd, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
What We Need: Branch Donations
We are seeking materials that will allow us to fill the big holes in the Nest:
Willow or Cedar branches, or any kind that bends well and won't easily break.
Bamboo slats or strips (if you have any leftover from a project).
Ideally, all materials should be stripped of leaves.
Please bring as many branches as you can spare!
Next Steps: Drop-Off and Volunteering
Branch Drop-Off: Please drop off your donated branches at the top of the park on Tuesday, December 2nd, by 9:00 AM.
Early Drop-Off: If you need to arrange an earlier drop-off time, please email springgardenfriends@mnapdx.org.
Volunteer to Weave: If you don't have branches but would like to lend a helping hand with the weaving, please register to volunteer here.
